Creating A Bronze - Start To Finish

Filming, editing and music by Cosmo Cardozo who explains: "My sister makes sculptures in clay, which she then casts in bronze. I became really interested in the process of creating a finished bronze - the number of stages in the process, the different patina effects and the amount of 'lost' work that goes into each piece. A new wax has to be made and worked on for every statue, and the pouring stage has to be done exactly right to avoid imperfections in the bronze. So we worked with the foundry in Switzerland to make this video, to condense the long process into a 4 minute film."
