On August 10, 2018. Bakhodir Fazletdinovich Jalalov (Bakhodir Jalal) was born in 1948 in Tashkent. In 1968 he graduated from the Republican Art School named after I. P.P. Benkov. From 1968 to 1974 he studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin. Since 1974 a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Bakhodir Jalal - Professor of the Department of Monumental Painting of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after K. Bekhzod. Since 2011 academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. Bakhodir Jalalov's works are kept in the State Museum of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan, the National Gallery of the NBU, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Foundation of the International Confederation of Artists' Unions in Moscow, the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, adorn private and public collections in Uzbekistan and abroad. One of the brightest representatives of the generation of Uzbek artists of the 1970s. In the early 1980s. became widely known thanks to the monumental paintings in the House of Cinema, the drama theatre in Kokand and other halls, as well as a large cycle of portraits of famous artists of Uzbekistan. Bakhodir Jalal continues his active creative and social activities today, creates projects, writes articles and organizes personal exhibitions.
